Osceola Turkey
School
In March of
2005, members of
the Knight &
Hale Prostaff in
conjunction with
Osceola Outdoors
will conduct a 3
day guided
Osceola Hunt and
turkey hunting
school. There
will be two
sessions of the
school and each
session will be
limited to 6
participants.
Participants
arrive day one
around noon,
they will get
settled in and
then safety
issues will be
covered.
Afterwards, a
shotgun
patterning
session,
sponsored by
Kicks Choke
Tubes, Bolle
Eyeware and
Winchester
Ammunition, will
be conducted.
The last few
hours of the day
will be spent in
the field
scouting and
discussing the
roosting habits
of the Osceola
Turkey.
The next
three mornings
will consist of
guided hunts and
field
experience.
After lunch we
will have
seminars
sponsored by
Knight & Hale
Game Calls,
discussing
calling and
locator
techniques.
Decoy strategies
sponsored by
Buckwing Decoys,
scouting tips
sponsored by
Bushnell Optics
and Plano
Outdoor
Products. Other
topics will
include turkey
hunting gear and
hunting the
other three
sub-species of
the Grand Slam,
sponsored by Bug
Out Outdoor
Wear,
Gerber
Legendary
Blades, Avery,
ThermaCell and
Flatwoods Camo.
This years
hunts will be
captured on film
by the Hunters
Journal TV Show.
Co-Host Jason
Housley and Rob
Snider will be
filming hunts
for their show
that airs on the
Outdoor Channel.
Rob and Jason
will also be
discussing video
techniques that
they use for the
show. Watch the
Hunters Journal
on Fridays 9:30
pm, Mondays
12:00 pm, and
Wednesdays 9:00
am on the
Outdoor Channel.

The Osceola
Turkey School
will be a
learning
experience as
well as good
hunting.
Participants
will not only go
home with new
found knowledge,
an Osceola
Turkey but, gear
from the
sponsors, like,
ammo, knives,
decoys,
ThermaCell
units, camo,
choke tubes and
turkey calls.
